COMMON COUNCIL MEETING
June
30, 2009
Roll Call: The following members were present: Mayor
Nieuwenhuis, Aldermen Siedelmann, Reddy, O’Connor, Johnson, Kilkenny and
Finley. Also Present: City Administrator Salitros, City Attorney Koch, Director
of Public Works Wendorf, City Treasurer Wiese and City Clerk Kitzman.
Public Comments:
Merlyn Dahl, 403 E. Wisconsin Street, spoke on the liquor license for the
Delavan House Hotel.
Due process hearing to renew or
non-renew the Class B Intoxicating Liquor and Fermented Malt Beverages at BV
Hotels, Inc. d/b/a Delavan House Hotel, 215 E. Walworth Ave., (Justyna
Karatnik, Agent): City Clerk Kitzman
announced that Robert Sobczak-Slomczewski had just presented checks for the
past-due personal property tax and real estate taxes. Alderman Finley moved,
seconded by Alderman O’Connor to approve the liquor license for the Delavan
House Hotel. The motion carried unanimously.
Adjourn: There being no further business to come before the
Common Council, the meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m. upon a motion by Alderman
Siedelmann, seconded by Alderman O’Connor and unanimously carried.
