Comments: Sam Riggs, 201 N. 8th
Street, spoke in support of the City Administrator, and felt he has done an
excellent job. Royce DeBow, 628 Westbury Lane, Unit 2, also spoke in support of
City Administrator Salitros.
Recess
to Closed Session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c) Considering
employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any
public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility. Re: City Administrator. Alderman Finley moved to recess to closed
session at 7:10 p.m. The motion was seconded by Alderman Siedelmann and carried
unanimously upon call of the roll.
The
Council discussed matters related to the continued employment of the City
Administrator.
Reconvene to Open Session: Alderman O’Connor moved to reconvene to open session at 8:35 p.m. The motion was seconded by Alderman Johnson and carried unanimously.
Consider approving amendment to Employment Agreement
for City Administrator. Alderman O’Connor moved to approve the amendment to the Employment
Agreement for City Administrator. The motion was seconded by Alderman Johnson
and carried with Aldermen Kilkenny and Finley dissenting upon call of the
roll.
Adjourn: There being no further business to come before the
Common Council, the meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. upon a motion by Alderman
Johnson, seconded by Alderman O’Connor and unanimously carried.
