CITY OF DELAVAN

SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL

June 29, 2010

Call to Order: Mayor Nieuwenhuis called the special meeting of the City of Delavan Common Council to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers.

Roll Call: The following members were present: Mayor Nieuwenhuis, Aldermen Siedelmann, Kilkenny, O’Connor, Johnson and DeWitt. Absent: Alderman Stebnitz. Also Present: City Administrator Salitros, City Attorney Koch, Director of Public Works Wendorf and City Clerk Kitzman.

Consider Granting the following 2010-2011 Liquor Licenses: Alderman Kilkenny moved to approve the following licenses:

CLASS “B” FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGE AND INTOXICATING LIQUOR

a. Delavan Resort Management, Inc, d/b/a Lake Lawn Resort, 2400 E. Geneva Street (Kip Blair, Agent)

b. Delavan Lanes, Inc., 509 S. Seventh Street (LaVonne Horgan, Agent)

c. Rene Hernandez, Buena Vista Restaurant, 239 E Walworth Avenue

CLASS “B” FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGE

a. XCS Enterprises d/b/a Delavan’s Downtown Deli, 124 E Walworth Avenue, (Patricia Cain, Agent)

b. Martinez Raul, Inc., d/b/a La Guanajuato, 233 E. Walworth Avenue, (Eudelia Barrios Varela, agent)

The motion was seconded by Alderman O’Connor and carried unanimously.

Adjourn: There being no further business to come before the Common Council, the meeting adjourned at 6:33 p.m. upon a motion by Alderman Kilkenny, seconded by Alderman O’Connor and unanimously carried.
